Counting, and saying,’ thank you sir,’ is good discipline, but hard to do, especially if the caning is prolonged.
Scarlet, fainting doesn’t help, it only delays the inevitable.

Paul, I think the caning should take place while I am unconscious. When I wake up we can go out to breakfast.
Canes are good for holding up plants in the garden, and maybe for firewood. Can’t think of any other use for them.
Alice, canes are also good for helping people walk and the red striped peppermint flavored ones to hang on the Christmas tree.
After reading so much on canes I am with Scarlet, just tapping would make me faint.
