Just who is going to spank this girl?
Is Neptune going to pop out of the waves and spank her? I like to think she is not going to be spanked because … concentrate …
Girls on boats should not be spanked!
No reason for saying that, just thought it worth mentioning.

I beg to differ. This girl needs not a spanking but spankings. At sea, one does not push against the lifelines. One always keeps one hand for the ship. And her heels are over the toe rail. One roll to port and she’ll be unceremoniously in the drink.
No she needs a good swat to put her over the cabin top then a thorough spanking so she doesn’t behave so irresponsibly on boats. Afterwards she can have her timeout lashed to the bowsprit as a living figurehead
Yes, I’m sure you had no reason for mentioning it.
I know a top who has a boat. It’s a scary thing, floating out there in the middle of nowhere…
i think she needs more than a spanking ,a good caning on the bare bottom much more appropriate and can i v olunteer to carry it out pleasee Popp

Poppy, good morning.

and

Nikolai took the words right off my keyboard.
She is breaking the prime rule when sailing, never put yourself or your craft in danger.
If she were mine, she wouldn’t be sitting comfortably for some time.
Paul.
She’s baiting the Loch Ness Monster. She can’t be spanked.
Dearest Poppy – you might find this limerick of interest:
There was a young lady named Banker
Who slept while the ship lay at anchor;
She awoke in dismay
When she heard the mate say:
“Now hoist up the topsheet and spanker!”
Fortunately for Ms Banker, the mate was simply using naval jargon – or should that be navel jargon…?
Funny, sweetsong.
She is waiting for her top to approach and then she is going to do a backflip into the water. It will be amazing.
i know I seem terribly anti social but I have been as busy as a bunny bee today.
Anyway …
Nikolai, you and boats, boats and you. I am afraid, very afraid. I would be very well behaved indeed whenever you were captain.
Lea, you are right. I think boats make Tops even toppier. Someone should do a study of it.
Danny, if you can find her and you can catch then maybe. (A bit like the A Team).
Paul, you prove the rule about Tops and boats.
Mindy, a wise point, she should be commended and given rum and stuff.
Sweetsong, a wonderful limmerick. Is it rude in its alternative meaning? I once heard some sea shanties- my ears fell off.
Scarlet, yes! That is perfect- we girls always see through to the heart of the matter. (Not the bottom, like some people we could mention.)
Poppy, the last line of the limerick is, sadly, perfectly innocent; ‘topsheet’ is a contraction of ‘topsail sheet’, where ‘sheet’ is a sailing term for a rope, and ‘spanker’ is a type of sail. However, I like to think that Ms Banker duly presented herself to the mate for a spanking, and the mate, being a gentleman, didn’t have the heart to disappoint her.
I am not entirely sure whether this particular rule satisfies my criteria of a few days ago, Poppy!
Sweetsong, I do like the way you put things. May such gentlemen always be part of life.
Mr J,
