You never can tell who is into spanking, as this Mona Lisa (possibly a Banksy) shows.
This might be you – not how you look on the outside but inside.

You might be someone who gets spanked or someone who never ever has but wants to know, just a little, what that might be like.
You might be someone who spanks. You might spank someone every day or you might have spanked someone once or never but inside you know that you are the person who does that sort of thing.
We are all lurkers in a way. I live my life and smile at my friends and family and no one knows who I really am. I think Poppy is who I really am and I would no sooner announce my coming out as her than I would dance naked in the street.
I have the quiet corner of the universe for me to be me in and my dearest hope is that some other people can be themselves here too. You might say something or you might stay silent but either way you have a place here.
I have readers from all over the world. I am thrilled by that.
You come here and you make me happy every time.
Thank you.
If you would like to say hello then please do. You can make up an email address (it can be total nonsense) and call yourself anon if you wish. You can say one word or say what you have been holding in for years. This is your space too.
Poppy

It was about a year ago that I had the courage to delurk. I’ve enjoyed making the new friends through your blog and Dev’s. Thank you for making me feel welcomed.
Not really a lurker but still wanted to pop over and say hello.
Love,
Ronnie

Hey, I own a t-shirt with a bare-bottomed Mona Lisa. Maybe it was inspired by this graffiti!
Concering your thoughts on lurking:
I am in a very similar position – on the web I ‘m the one running a popular spanking website; but in private there are hardly 3-4 people who know my preferences. And just one of those knows I’m “Chross”.
Anyway, Happy LoL Day!
Cheers
Chross
Happy LOL Day from a lurker
Thoughtful, sensitive post as always, Poppy.
Happy LOL Day!
Poppy, good morning.

Happy LOL day.
You should know, and fully realise, that, every time you post, you add a little brightness to my day.
And I am damn sure that I am not the only one who thinks this.
Paul.
Hi Poppy! Lovely post and happy LOL day.
Hi Poppy,
I’m a regular visitor and an irregular commenter. Does that make me a semi-lurker? Thanks for being a part of LOL 6.
Hugs,
Hermione
Happy LOL Day Poppy !!!

Happy LOL Day, Poppy! I’m not reading and commenting regularly, but I stop by every once in a while and often find a post that touches me.

delurking from GA USA. hi. thanks for what you do. your blog is super-classy and I love it. This weekend will be my FIRST weekend. I’m a little nervous.
Happy LOL Day, Poppy! Thank you for your beautiful, thought provoking writing.
Happy LOL day Poppy, it was LOL day last year that I first plucked up the courage to comment, both here and at Dev’s. largely thnks to your writing and seeing how welcome people were made. Keep up the good work.
Hi Poppy! I remember seeing that graffiti art in London a few years ago – it certainly made me stop and stare
I’m very glad I stumbled across your blog recently and think your writing is awesome. Thanks for the opportunity to de-lurk.
Happy LOL day!
Hi
I visit more than I comment but I admire your work.
Now that everyone over here is wearing a poppy for Remembrance Day, you come to mind frequently.
You are eminently spankable.
Thanks
Michael
Happy LOL Day Poppy…I often read, sometimes comment. I guess I am a semi-lurker? Sara
Happy LOL day, Poppy!

Hi, I’ve been lurking here for a few months off and on. Enjoying reading and learning.
Hi Poppy,
I’m not sure if I’ve ever commented but I definitely lurk. I love your blog. Happy LOL!
Hi Poppy, I’ve lurked for awhile, I really like your style of writing its eloquent and soothing.
Hi, Poppy! I probably do qualify as a lurker these days, but I’m still out there, and still enjoying your writing!
I always knew Ms Mona was a Happy Spankee! You can tell from that look. I don’t know if Leo knew. Did they ever find a plan for a spanking machine in his stuff?
I’d go look, but I rarely get around the Blogs like I want to anyway– but I am popping in here on this Particular Day to steal a Poppy smooch and say, fine job as always! Love pats!!

hmmmm…..say anything…let me think….my mind is confused today. I think the moon is pulling at my emotions. Wax and wane, buttress and reprove. I need a reprieve in spite of myself.
There is always a beginning, in a song, in warmth, in friendship, in love. The wrinkle is taking the first step onto that path, taking a breath, seeing where it leads,
trusting that some form of it will always exist and being pleasantly surprised. If only for a moment, it was worth it. The searching should then continue, lest an opportunity be lost forever.
I then deliberately yield and am resonant.
How was that?
Thank you, Poppy, for sharing your thoughts and feelings.
Ooohhh!!! Emoticons! Yay!!

Happy LOL Day! Love your blog… it’s one of the best. What a neat picture find in your LOL post too.

Poppy, I don’t always comment but I read every one of your posts. Your blog is a definite must read on my list and I admire your beautiful writing and how you can put things into words that have been swirling around inside my head for years. Thank you for sharing it with the rest of us.
Poppy, I am also away using my phone. Love reading your stories and playing. Happy lol day.

I finally read your post, Poppy. That is indeed a profound thought that in “real life” we are also lurkers in that we so seldom reveal our secret thoughts and fantasies to one another.
