Here is my new blog.
I wanted it to show how I feel. Change is like a birth, a new beginnings, a spring, – at least it should be.
Often, it is not like that. We have all experienced changes, especially involving a separation, that have left us on the floor, exhausted, dirty, and emotionally bruised. We make the call, one friend to another and we send up the distress flags. We gather with cigarettes, wine, chocolate and invocations of autopsy and recovery. There is a winter, a distress, a dishevelment and slowly one emerges.
I have not felt any of this. I just feel love, peace, happiness and security. This is a testament to Dev and also to my friends, the ones that have been all along and wonderful new friendships I am developing.
So here is my new place to play. I have help in its design, thank you so much for that (you know who you are). I have no talent for design and it has been a joy having a skilled eye guiding me.
I am writing again. I am finding out new things about myself and about other people. Nothing is forgotten. I am evolving. I never imagined it could feel like this.

Poppy, you made your blit even more beautiful! I’ve brought you some pillows as a housewarming gift–I can’t image what you’ll use them for, but I’m sure you’ll put them to good use!
Poppy, I love the way you redecorated and very happy that you found peace and happiness to fill it. I hope this doesn’t mean we don’t get the chocolate or wine, I brought some of each just in case.
Since Scarlet brought you some pillows, I brought you a small refrigerator complete with freezer. I know how you go through frozen peas I thought you could keep extras.

Oh, Poppy, it is lovely! I don’t know how you can say you have no design skills, you design each of your posts with just the right pictures.
Let’s see… Scarlet brought the pillows and Kaki brought the peas. There seems to be plenty of wine and chocolate about, so that leaves… ah, yes, new furnishings to fill in all the corners. There, that’s better!
