Well, jeans can certainly remain in place but then the Top would need to use an implement that speaks loud enough to get through the tough material. But no worries, jeans are designed to withstand rough treatment.
Paddles are a good response to jeans. Really, a good thick paddle shouldn’t be applied to the bare but across the tough material of jeans pulled tight, they come into their own. Or, a wide strap made from a hay bailer belt, for out on the farm? A wide, tough material used to drive the bailer off the power take-off, a short length attached to a handle would be cruel to apply over anything but thick work trousers.
