I have tried to work out what to say about this picture just as I have tried to work out what to say about this coat.
I know how Tops feel now. My mind is all blank.

That coat looks like a garbage bag torn open at the back…I wonder how much something like that costs. Oh my, lol.
That’s a Spanish paperback cover – obviously of the guns/knives/hand grenades/girl spanking/rip off an American movie title niche genre so popular on the Iberian Peninsula in the mid-1970s, and of course the rubber-fetishistic coat, worn backward in this photo, made immortal when donned in the early 1980s by Kim Bassinger, Kathleen Turner, and other up and comers in low budget American art flicks.
There is no confusion here.
That’s a cute bottom though.
Poppy, there is no confusion here, Dev has sorted it all.

All that remains, is to say is good morning, enjoy your Sunday.
Love and warm hugs,
Paul.
Weird. That’s all I can say
Hugs,
Maria
Kate, I bet that coat costs gazillions. Despite the fact (or because of the fact) that no one could wear it.
Dev, none of us said all that because we felt it was so obvious. Ish.
Paul, I am having a delightful day. Would you like some banana bread? It is almost finished cooking. I will make a pot of tea and we will have it warm with butter.
Maria, yep. I am with you.
Poppy, is there no end to what Dev knows?
I think that coat would be amazing inexpensive. Just consider the cold winter drafts. I think it could go on the failblog that you shared recently.
Poppy, thank you, that sounds a nice way to spend a Sunday autumn afternoon..
A typical English understatement for what would be a delightful occasion.
Love and warm hugs,
Paul.
Scarlet, Dev would tell you there is no end, I would tell you there is no beginning- I am sure we are saying the same thing.
Paul,
and I do hope you have been watching Strictly Come Dancing- there is spanking on it every week. xx
Poppy, that response to Scarlet was more than a little bit smart alecky, wasn’t it?
I was describing the nature of the eternal.
I was being philosophical. Do try to keep up.
I believe Lao Tzu said, “Stand before it, there is no beginning. Follow it, there is no end.”
He must have known Poppy.
It is good to know that there are philosophy blogs on the internet. I will go away and contemplate this thought.
You’ve gone from smart alecky to impudent, Poppy.
I think I can explain the coat. You go outside wearing that on a winter’s day and it literally illustrates the phrase, “freezing your a** off.”
Strange comic-book cover, but the couple is certainly cute.
Erica, a wise woman is what you are.
You made me chortle.
Dev, i told you that I was feeling bad. I was not as bad as I could have been.
Hm. Well, you see, I’m not seeing anything wrong with that coat whatsoever.
