That’s what I remember the most about my trip to England – the cold, fierce wind. I dont’ think I’ve ever been so freezing in all my life. I did love Bude though, in spite of the temp and the windburn on my face. I will say that certain Toppy people around here probably would have enjoyed a group of ladies I saw at Stonehenge – they all had short plaid skirts on that kept whipping around in the wind.
As to why anyone would want to spank girls with such lovely hair is beyond me. One of them even has a bow for goodness sake! If that’s not the epitome of a good girl, I’m not sure what is.
Appearances often are deceptive. Britney Spears used to be totally adorable, but naughty is as naughty does, and a good Top is not taken in by innocent looking eyes, boots, or bows. These girls have been up to no good, and now they’re trying to work round it.
But that’s simply not on.
This picture reminds me of the famous Devlin O’Neill motto: “All girls are good girls, and unfortunately, they frequently find themselves being spanked unfairly.”
Or it was something like that, anyway. I think I’ve got it right.
Scarlet, you have it totally right. He gets confused sometimes but it is easy enough to bring him around with a little shock. I find being good for five minutes is enough to do it.
Kate, a bow does make people good. I agree with you and yes, it is windy and cold here. I have several little plaid skirts and I adore them, they are designed for winter- best work with boots. It makes a girl feel happy to be dressed thus.
I think no author ever has been quoted more wrongly or inappropriately. If there is a Misquotation Hall of Infamy, Scarlet’s attribution should be blazoned in gold letters across the entryway. That is epic misunderstanding, and yet in a way I am humbled by its massive misapprehension. Truly.
And yes, Poppy, a tiny tartan plaid skirt will go SO well with the winter boots you just bought, I don’t ruddy think so, young lady.
Dev assures me that was teasing – I love my skirts and boots, am amazed to hear that it is a UK outfit.
