Summer is fast approaching, that is for the British. I think summer is already in full flow for lots of people.
I am about to go shopping for my summer wardrobe. I have noticed, however, a rather disturbing trend in shorts.
I do not wish to sound prudish but are they not a bit too short? That picture was taken from a strange angle though.
Maybe she forgot something? It can happen to the best of us. It is just we do not normally forget the lower half of our outfit.
These are very pretty shorts and the owner has a perfect bottom- but still. I am not sure that all is as it should be.
Here are some very short shorts but these are actual underwear and these are the only kind of short shorts that I think I could get away with without stern words from himself.
The thing is I suspect there would be a danger in even wearing these knickers in private.
I think it might give ideas that I would not appreciate.
So short shorts or boy shorts – wear them at your peril. You may consider this a public service announcement.

I cannot fault you, you have produced as fine a set of extremely spankable bottoms as I seen in some time.

I do have a feeling though there have been quite a few ladies of all ages who have gotten spanked,paddled,switched, etc for wearing them.
I am terribly confused. Men like short shorts? So why do girls get spanked when they wear them?

Poppy, it's like this: Men like to see women in short shorts, but they also like to have a "reason" to spank women. So with short shorts, it's easy to "make the punishment fit the crime", so to speak.
"So, young lady, you like to show off your bottom, well then let's see if you still want to show it off when it's red all over".
Key point being: reasons for spanking don't always have to make perfect sense, from a female point of view! I do hope this goes some way towards clearing up your perfectly understandable confusion!
Karl, I get all of that. It is just that for years it is women that have the reputation for being illogical. Totally unfair.

Karl, while I don't entirely disagree with your point, I feel I ought to add something here in response to Poppy's question, why do girls get spanked when they wear them? – meaning these cheek revealing items.
Not all girls get spanked for wearing short shorts, or for anything else come to that, which in most cases is a pity on many levels.
And a man does enjoy looking at girls' bottoms when they have on this sort of garb, though he may object strenuously to his own girl showing her bum to other men, and other women of course, in that way.
So the man could very possibly say to his girl, the girl over whom he has such authority, I like it when you may wear it at home, but do NOT leave the house wearing that scandalous, cheek revealing garment, young lady, or I will make you very sorry about it.
Then when she does so anyway there is no fickleness, no unreason, no illogic on the man's part in his taking down the scandalous, cheek revealing garment, possibly even in public since the girl already has shown blatant disregard for modesty's demands, and tanning her impudent bottom thoroughly.
In fact, my considered opinion is that girls who dress in this garb are trolling for a man, or woman I suppose, who will tell them not to, and mean it so sincerely that the girl doesn't sit comfortably for quite some while.
