One of my favourite films ever was on again last night. I did not watch it as I have the DVD but I love it so much I considered it.
The film is “La Reine Margot” and if you have never seen it please consider watching it. It is subtitled so if that drives you bonkers then this may not be the film for you. But it is magnificent, a work of art.
So I was thinking about France. Not least because it is finally hot here and I want to go to France and sit by a river and eat cheese.
And then I had a thought about spanking. I know! It surprised me too.
Is it a co-incidence that une fessée which means “spanking” in French is so close to “confess”?
There does appear to be a link.

Scarlet, it honestly is an amazing film. And that is all I will say about it because it bugs me when people tell you all about films before you watch them. Please make sure you have wine in, it is a drinking wine sort of a film.

The last one is interesting, because I have seen a similar photo, only there were three dogs of varying sizes lined up. Wonder which one came first
