Now I’ve Done My ABCs …

I was going to say, “Now I’ve done my ABCs, tell me what you think of me.”

But I don’t want to do that because it’s needy, and I did twenty-six posts, all the alphabet.

I wonder if anyone noticed before I pointed it out.

I have been really, really good. I just wanted to say that, because all someone around here seems to notice is when I am naughty, but I am not naughty – I am good.

Poppy, no I hadn't noticed, but then I tend to look at titles after I've read the post.

I'm sure that you are always good, isn't it a shame that you are unable to convince Himself of that fact.

In The Other Place, in your last comment, you say that, "you think you are being framed."

I'd like to see you framed, dressed as a 20's Flapper in an Art-Deco picture frame.

How Himself would like to see you framed, is a matter for conjecture, and something to be sorted out between you and Himself.

    Have a great week-end.

    Warm hugs,
    Paul.

  2. Season says:

Very cool, Poppy! I didn't catch on to the alphabet but now I am going to keep a closer eye on you. I want to see what you have up your sleeve next!

  3. Scarlet says:

Hi Poppy, I caught on to the alphabet toward the end, certainly not early enough for you to think I'm clever! But I did love it. It was a great theme, and a lot of fun waiting for the next one once I did know. Anyone who can do 26 letters in a row like that is very good and should be rewarded.

Since we asked Dev last time what your prize should be and he couldn't think one up, we should decide for ourselves and go out shopping for it, and then wrap it up and give it to him so he can give it back to you. I find sometimes Tops need a little help like that. It's another way of being good.

  4. devlinoneill says:

Needy or not, I'm very proud of all 26 alphabetical posts, Poppy. As to a reward, I think something that hasn't got to be wrapped up would be more appropriate, but thanks anyhow, Scarlet, and I know such a manifestation of goodness is appreciated every time if occurs.

Paul, I'll have to think about the framing issue, but just off the top of my head I see more that famous tire company 'Time to Re-Tire' ad from the 1940s with the curly-haired urchin in pajamas holding a tire and a candle. I'm sure that's because I so often see her in her PJs.

  5. devlinoneill says:

That should be 'it occurs' not 'if occurs.'

  6. Season says:

Maybe your reward could be 26 different spankings, each with a theme or implement representing a letter of the alphabet?

  7. devlinoneill says:

What a terrific suggestion, Season! I know Poppy will be delighted at your thoughtful recommendation.

  8. Poppy says:

A girl goes shopping and look what happens in her absence.
Paul, thank you and I have been dressed as a flapper more than once but that is a story for another time. Smile

Scarlet, your idea is wonderful, perfect and great fun. I think your idea is the right kind of idea. Why on earth Dev should think that my reward would not be something wrappable is beyond me. He must be confused again.

Season, thank you for your early comment but your later idea speaks to me of your own yearning to be sorted out. I hope that Michael sees this and takes note. Thhhurrrrp.
(That was a raspberry and I blew it at you- in case you were confused.)

Dev, you said you were proud of me so how easily you were swayed. I have been good and seeing as it happens so rarely I think you should not play host to Season's nasty suggestion, not even for a moment.

I have pretty skirts. I have a ton of cooking to do. But the skirts are worth the rush now.

  9. Scarlet says:

Hi Poppy, I'm glad you liked my idea. I won't let Dev's lack of enthusiasm deter me–I'll just have to keep thinking of wonderful things he can reward you with, and I'll tell him all about them. That's what girlfriends are for.

Enjoy your pretty skirts. I'm just getting out my summer things and found a white eyelet skirt I bought at the end of last summer–it was like getting a prize, because I had forgotten about it!

  10. Poppy says:

I do not so much ignore Dev's lack of enthusiasm but rather take that as a cue for independent activity. He is almost always amused when he finds out.

  11. Michael says:

Excellent, Poppy, a really good job. I didn't notice until the "Y" post and only because you broadly hinted at it then.

Season, I like your alphabet spanking suggestion so much I will do that with you. Now I really can't wait for your visit. Smile

  12. Poppy says:

Michael, I am even more happy than normal that you showed up.

If you would like any A-Z suggestions you just let me know and I will get all inspirational for your delectation.

(I really will, at the drop of a hat. Or a word. From you.)

  13. Hermione says:

No, I didn't notice until you explained about the "Y" post, so that was a bit late. Sorry. I will be more observant next time, especially if you decide to do numbers.

    Hugs,
    Hermione

  14. Season says:

Poppy – I have already started a list of theme suggestions for my 26 good girl spankings and shared a few on Dev's blog. A = almond oil massage, B = bubble bath, C = chocolate syrup, D = dark chocolate syrup, E = even more dark chocolate syrup. Grin
