Missy, that is a very naughty thing to say, young lady. A spanking is supposed to hurt so a girl learns her lesson. The very idea!
I'm not sure, Poppy, that the lady in the photo is laughing. At first glance she appears to be but on closer inspection I think she might be shouting out in pain and outrage…and that's why her mouth is open and showing her teeth as though she were laughing.
Anyway, I do agree with you wholeheartedley that a spanking should hurt and should leave the spanked lady with a sore bum!
