A response to a challenge from The Daily Toast to write a 69 word story based on the above picture that included the acronym HNT, which stands for , forgive me if I do not get the accent quite right, “Half Nakkid Thursday.” The spelling may be wrong, this is a whole new world to me. . This is my first ever attempt at flash fiction- it’s hard!
It was HNT-and they had tickets for the ballet. She had imagined an evening lost in a crowd, his eyes on the ballerinas, all that succulent attention wasted on others.
They had met in the theatre; he had simply glanced at her outfit before marching her out and booking them into a hotel. He stood now, belt slipping through loops, his dark eyes glued to his own errant ballerina.

Very good! I hope you come back next week!
For you readers who may not be familiar, the Flash Fiction Friday Challenge #1 is here.
Big Hugs and Thanks!

That made me shudder. KayLynn
OMG!!!! This is awesome! I adore it… and the beauty and artistry of your soul reaches through your words to clutch gently at my throat!
Great job!
Blimey- thanks guys.
I would love to do it again next week Spanky and thank you so much Tiggs and KayLynn.
Excellent flash piece, Poppy! I enjoyed it immensely.
Thanks Michael. I am glad that you liked it.
Poppy, really good, I like, not an easy thing to do.
Pop over and read JFlame's 69er.
Warm hugs,
Paul.
VERY splendid, Poppy.
Thank you very much. Jay's is fab, isn't it? I will make sure I go and say so.
I think splendidity should be rewarded AND it is friday night. I will take silence as agreement. That will be most efficient of me I think.
Excellent Poppy! You inspired me to write one.
I just have to pop back in and say that "splendidity" is absolutely the best word I've read all day! And there's been a lot of splendidity in the first Flash Fiction Friday!
Excellent!
Thank you Spanky and Measha! And Season yours was fantastic and look what you inspired!
If anyone is in the least bit interested the above ploy to get a reward did not work out for me in the least. We live in an unfair world and some people are too strict for my own good.
Very good Poppy. Sorry late visiting.
